    3D Pearl Stick-on Eyes - Price: $3.49

    #167

    Rating:

Regular flat prism eyes are okay but they will be out performed by these 3D domed eyes every time. Besides these eyes are a tonne easier to work with. I fasten these eyes with GOOP (available at Canadian Tire). I have found this to be the absolute best durable adhesive for making eyes like these stick! Use a round tooth pick or your bodkin to apply a small glob to back of 3D eye (yes right over top of existing adhesive). Put one side on at time and then carefully squeeze them together into proper location.

Lead Dumbell Eyes - Price: $1.49

    #180

    Rating:

Plain lead eyes have their place in everyone’s fly box. There are patterns and days that shiny, bright, glimmered extras on a fly cause more problems than fish strikes. Take for instance the full motion crayfish any other weighted eye will not work. Most weighted Sculpin patterns also request plain lead eyes. small 5/32 - 1/40oz used on hooks 8-12   medium 3/16 - 1/30oz used on hooks 4-8  large 7/32 - 1/20oz used on hooks 1-4

Real Eyes Plus - Price: $8

    #181

    Rating:

Baitfish patterns without eyes just don't make sense. If weighted eyes are desired for your baitfish pattern than Real Eyes Plus (also known as Psuedo Eyes) are your best choice. They are heavier than most similar products and the painted eye can take a beating unlike some of the other brands that scrape or flake off first time they hit the water.

    Ultra Chenille - Price: $2.99

    #228

    Rating:

This is the most dense chenille available. This material can actually be exposed briefly to a open flame and the end will taper - all other chenilles would fail to do this.

Plastic Chain Eyes - Price: $1.49

    #221

    Rating:

This non weighted eye makes for a perfect addition to a swimming crayfish, shrimp or crawling crab pattern.
