Over the past 30 years of sharing time on the water with our clients, we Troutfitter Instructor/guides have come to recognize the need to be flexible. Not just in adjusting our scheduled days on the water to ensure our clients' best chance for successful learning. But, to have a full portfolio of fly fishing experiences that fulfill our NEW clients and our alumni graduates a chance to pursue their fly fishing dreams.
So whether an individual, a pair or group, including large groups - we know how to be part of your introduction to the wonderful world of fly fishing. Our team, over the years, has put together some of the most rewarding fly-fishing experiences for our corporate clients. Our on-the-river course curriculum has continually produced self-sufficient fly fishers in just one lesson, year after year. However, the on-the-pond session has produced so many happy client images called grip n grins, aka client holding fish picture. We would book more pond events if we could, but we just get too busy once the river here opens for trout season.
Improve your casting skills
Fly casting has been made out to be one of the harder things to learn in most fly fishing school programs. We don’t agree – it is the easiest part of our day in any of our programs. To get the basics is simple and quick – we focus on doing exactly that in our learn to fly fish lessons. The rest of time is spent teaching you to be a self sufficient fly fisher.
Of course, there are advanced casting techniques and we like to keep them separate from our normal program. So you want more accuracy, greater casting distance, the ability to cast in the wind, or even learn to spey cast. Our casting lessons are for a two-hour periods. Your pre-discussed casting objective will be planned and applied to your casting stroke.
Archery lessons
Why not try our totally NEW program “Hands on Archery”. These archery lessons are designed to safely introduce and prepare participants for a future of arrows hitting desired targets. This has also become one of our Corporate clients' favourite ways to reward clients or employees with a memorable experience.
