Our most popular program is "On-the River Fly-fishing lesson", BUT now we offer this same successful program on more rivers than just the famous Grand River Tailwater here in Fergus/Elora area. We now have Satellite Troutfitter Education Depots on the lower Grand River in Paris/Brantford, in the London Area on Thames River and Saugeen River in the Walkerton and Durham area.

Fly casting has been made out to be one of the harder things to learn in most fly fishing school programs. We don’t agree – it is the easiest part of our day in any of our programs. To get the basics is simple and quick – we focus on doing exactly that in our learn to fly fish lessons. The rest of time is spent teaching you to be a self sufficient fly fisher. Of course there are advanced casting techniques and this we like to keep separate from our normal program. So you want more accuracy, greater casting distance, abilities to cast in the wind or even learn to spey cast our casting lessons by the hour are the recipe for success.
