In August of 1993 Grand River Troutfitters Ltd opened their retail doors and for 18 years this business developed into one of Ontario's leading fly-fishing retail stores. Retailing was our foundation for many of those years but our Fly fishing Schools and Ontario Guiding grew into its own successful business.

When retailing became a never ending profit/loss battle we knew exactly what to do - the decision came easy - let's do what we love and do best! Be the spark, catylist, and fuel for beginner to aspiring fly fishers in Ontario and abroad. We know the real catch happens on the water not the retail store and this is where you can find us through out the angling seasons.
